However, if they are fragile, brittle or cracked, this is often more than just a cosmetic problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Brittle nails causes<\/strong> can be manifold - from a lack of nutrients and hormonal changes to external influences such as water, cleaning agents or nail polish remover.
