Of het nu gaat om chronische spanningen op het werk, familieconflicten of te weinig slaap: ons lichaam reageert op stress <strong>niet alleen mentaal, maar ook fysiek<\/strong>. In een fractie van een seconde wordt het lichaam op scherp gezet - het hart gaat sneller kloppen, de ademhaling wordt oppervlakkiger en de spieren worden gespannen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Verantwoordelijk hiervoor: de <strong>Cortisol hormoon<\/strong>samen met adrenaline en noradrenaline. Dit is nuttig op korte termijn, maar gevaarlijk op lange termijn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stresseffecten in het lichaam - wat gebeurt er precies?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Hersenen: overprikkeling &amp; gebrek aan concentratie<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Chronische stress leidt tot <strong>veranderde hersenchemie<\/strong>.
