Een voedingsmethode die gerichte verlichting belooft is de <strong>Laag FODMAP-dieet<\/strong>. Maar wat zit er precies achter en voor wie is het geschikt?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wat betekent \"FODMAP\" eigenlijk?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>FODMAP is de afkorting voor:<br><strong>F<\/strong>ermenteerbaar<br><strong>O<\/strong>ligosachariden<br><strong>D<\/strong>isachariden<br><strong>M<\/strong>onosachariden<br><strong>A<\/strong>en<br><strong>P<\/strong>olyole<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deze koolhydraten worden slecht opgenomen in de darmen, fermenteren snel en kunnen gasvorming en het vasthouden van water veroorzaken - vooral bij gevoelige mensen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Voor wie is het Low FODMAP dieet geschikt?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Het dieet werd oorspronkelijk ontwikkeld aan de Monash University (Australi\u00eb) voor de behandeling van de <strong>Prikkelbare darm syndroom (IBS)<\/strong> ontwikkeld.
